Testimonials
"Kathy did a wonderful job designing our garden space! She's got a great eye for colors and textures and was a joy to work with. We could not be happier with the results."
Josh - Seattle, WA
"Working with Kathy from Harmony Garden Design was a pleasure. Kathy met with us and discussed what our vision was for our yard. She gave us a couple of design options and then provided photos of the types of plants that would be suitable for our project. Once we selected the design and plant options, she took it from there! Kathy asks for all kinds of input, is knowledgeable about plants, trees and bushes and has a good eye for landscape design. We are very pleased with the outcome and have had lots of compliments about how our yard turned out. We would highly recommend contacting Harmony Garden Design for any landscape project."
Leslie & Don - Newcastle, WA

"We had a wonderful experience with Kathy. I’ve posted pictures of our beautiful yard! Thanks Kathy!"
Denise & Walt - Normandy Park, WA
"Our previous owners had done an amazing job with the garden in our house and we were maintaining it, barely. I needed help, figuring out what plants weren’t working, what we needed more of, and how to make the space a little more cohesive after haphazardly adding things from various plant sales. I also wanted to add some lighting and fix uneven steps for aging grandparents.
Kathy came over, listened to our needs, got a sense for our skill level and came up with the most incredible design. I really appreciate her honesty about what wood and would not work. She added gorgeous colors, layers, and textures that help our garden look beautiful year-round. She was communicative and efficient. I couldn’t have asked for a better garden and we get compliments all the time."
Jill - Seattle, WA

The Art of Elegant Landscape Design
Transform Your Space into a Tranquil Haven
In the realm of home aesthetics, nothing captures the essence of beauty and tranquility quite like a thoughtfully designed landscape. A garden, when meticulously curated, serves as an extension of your living space—a sanctuary where nature and nurture coexist in perfect harmony.
Imagine stepping out into a haven where every element of design has been uniquely tailored to your lifestyle. From the gentle sway of ornamental grasses to the soothing sound of a babbling fountain, each feature is a testament to the art of landscape design. This is not merely about planting flowers or arranging stones; it's about creating a symphony of sight and sound that resonates with your soul.
The key to a successful landscape design lies in its ability to reflect the nuances of your personal taste while seamlessly blending with the natural environment. Consider the interplay of light and shadow as the sun dances through a canopy of trees. Picture a pathway, meandering through vibrant flower beds, leading to a secluded nook where you can unwind with a book or simply bask in the serenity of your surroundings.
Every corner of your garden should tell a story—your story. Whether it's a rustic bench nestled beneath an ancient oak, a modern sculpture that adds a touch of sophistication, or a quaint herb garden that provides culinary delights, each element should reflect your individuality.
Moreover, a well-designed landscape has the power to enhance your well-being. The sight of lush greenery, the scent of blooming flowers, and the sound of rustling leaves can have a profound calming effect, reducing stress and fostering a sense of peace. It's a space where you can reconnect with nature and find solace from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
In essence, thoughtful landscape design is about more than aesthetics; it's about creating a haven. A place where beauty and tranquility are not just seen but felt. So, embark on this journey of transformation and let your home be a testament to the timeless elegance of nature, crafted uniquely for you.
