Hi, I'm Kathy...

I am the principal designer of Harmony Garden Design. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest where the rhododendron reigns supreme and Juniper tams were considered standard for any front yard. I ached for color and movement! First came the pots of pansies on the back stoop, then a balcony garden at my first apartment to a total transformation of my then-boyfriend's entire yard. Over the past thirty years, what began as a simple hobby has transformed into a fulfilling career.

I'm active in the APLD Washington chapter, a member of the Northwest Perennial Alliance and of Northwest Horticulture Society. I partner with Bleitz Landworks and many other local craftspeople.
